Sierra Lakes Highlights
By Jimbomatic @ 10:26 PM :: 512 Views :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating

Now we all know why Sierra lakes is Javier Chavez’s favorite course.  It was like a country club; facilities, fairways and greens all perfect.  Most of us are not use to hitting off of perfect lies and putting on pure greens.   Javier, after buying Clinton Cox’s old clubs in the parking lot 15 minutes before he teed off, holed out his 120 yard approach shot for an eagle 2 on the opening par 4 hole.   Then he makes a birdie 3 on the next hole, but after too much celebrating, dancing, and jumping around he got a back spasm on hole # 3’s tee box and sliced his drive out of bounds.  We all must remember we are not 20 anymore… let’s celebrate with a low 5 or fist bump instead, to prevent more injuries, also no jogging in parking lots even if you are “running late” (hope all is well Wallace.)   Javier got his 2nd eagle of the day on hole # 15 the par 5, as he once again hole out from the fairway -140 yards for a 3.  He finished 2nd gross with an 83, 3 gross skins, 1 net skin, and tied for low putts on the day with 31.  The low gross of the day was shot by the once again “Jimbomatic” his gross 71 (-1) wins first gross in A flight, tied for low putts, long drive regular and 2 of his 4 birds held up for a gross skin.  Mark Hardin shot the 2nd lowest gross score of the day (81) winning him first gross in the B flight.  Craig Cessna shot the low net of the day (60) and was the only C flightier to shot in the 80’s as his 87 wins him First place gross in the C flight and his bird on # 11 gave him a net skin.  For complete low gross / low net results see our web site at
