Ok, first of all, for those of you who were a NO SHOW today and did not email, text or call me shame on you!  You guys are making me look bad, I keep in contact with the course to let them know how many tee times we need and especially when it’s raining and they were nice enough to let us tee off a hour later.   Please put my contact info in your phones in case you can’t make a tournament or want to be added to a tournament last minute, I always allow players to be added and dropped so long as you let me know before we tee off.

Ok, now to the action.  Javier Chavez says “let it rain” but he was talking about the $$$$$ he is winning lately.  Chavez did it again chipping in for an eagle on # 6 that is # 3 on the year already. (Cox what magical clubs did you sale him?)  Javier was 4 under after 7 holes & only had 9 putts on the front nine, but he shot 5 over when the sun came out.  Javier still had the low gross of the day +1 (63) winning himself a Ham, low putts on the day (24) and 2 gross skins.   Mark Hardin is enjoying that “C” flight handicap shooting -11 net today (51) watch out Cessna, Jim Reich has someone knew to pick on.   That practice round in the rain last month at San Dimas paid off for him cuz he is the new king of the “Mudders” Mark shot a 66 gross today 2nd best behind Javier “Cox Jr” Chavez.    Mark gets his Ham, low net (15 points for the Birch Cup) 2nd place low putts, 1 gross skin for his bird on # 10 , 2 net skins and 2 closest to the pins… Wow good shooting Mark “rainman” Hardin (I’m an excellent driver)   Ken “why did I play in the rain today” Sinatra answered his own questions.. “Cuz I took everyone’s money”.  Ken shot the 2nd low net of the day (54) winning him a Ham and 12 birch hills cup points.  He also wins 3 net skins and a gross skin for his birdie on # 12.  Nice shooting Kenneth!!!  Net 55’ers all win a Ham… lead by Bobby Lindner who had the long putt in the rain on # 2 (11 footer) and a double dipper gross / net skin for his birdie on # 4.   Fermin Andres also wins a ham with his net 55 and his bird on #16 gives him a net skin.  Clinton “silver fox” Cox joins the 55 club winning a ham and takes down the senior long drive on # 11.  JP David was the last 55 and his double pop par on # 5 gives him a net skin.   Brad Webster gets the last ham with his net 58 and takes over the closest to the pin lead with # 5 on hole # 15.   Gary Mullican wishes 1 of those no shows would of showed up today cuz he was the only player under par net today that did not win a ham….can you say Mendoza Line…I knew you could … President Cup winner Jason “no room, no key “ Bouzos wins long drive in the regular flight despite his no birdie- gross 80 score today,  “this walking crap is for the birds”, give me my cart! It’s impossible to carry my 6 pack of red bull, cigs, towel, clubs, scorecards for dot games, not to mention nowhere to put my umbrella, sweats, jacket, cell phone, and no 360’s in the mud …that’s no fun!!!
